Jim Burns and Brant Brown join O’Melveny & Myers

Jim Burns and Brant Brown, previously Partners at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, have joined O’Melveny & Myers as Partners in the firm's Capital Markets Practice. Jim counsels broker-dealers, exchanges, clearing agencies, alternative trading systems (ATSs), and private fund clients, as well as other SEC registered entities and their boards, on regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters. Brant advises broker-dealers, exchanges, clearing agencies, asset managers, and other financial institutions on compliance with federal securities laws and the rules of self-regulatory organizations (SROs).
