Steven Emme, previously Chief Strategy Officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce, has joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as Partner in the firm's International Trade Practice. Steve’s practice focuses on international trade and national security, with an emphasis on compliance with U.S. export control regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
