Sadie J. Madole, Esq.

Sadie is a member of Garrison & Sisson's Associate Division and focuses her practice on law firm and in-house placements.  Sadie joined Garrison & Sisson as an attorney search consultant in 2006, after gaining 10 years of experience practicing law in both the private and public sectors.

Sadie's recruiting philosophy is rooted in full and fair disclosure--both to individuals and employers--and each day she aims to grow relationships built on trust and mutual respect.  Drawing on her background in journalism, Sadie seeks to learn about your practice and goals on a substantive level and to guide you on the most appropriate opportunities.  Sadie's core expertise lies in vetting the substantive fit for a particular need, and she also factors in important variables including work ethic and ethos, business development acumen, client management skills, and personality and sense of humor, among others.   Sadie believes that every “fit” is based on a number of components--some tangible and some intangible--which are unique to each client.  This approach has enabled her to successfully place attorneys in numerous law firms and corporations in and around the Washington, DC region.

Before her career in legal recruiting, Sadie served as Senior Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the Treasury Department. Sadie advised the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Management on procurement and appropriations, privacy, employment law and health and pension benefits. Prior to public service, Sadie spent five years as an associate in a litigation boutique in Northern Virginia where she specialized in ERISA and health law matters.  Sadie also worked as an editor for NBC Network News where she covered national news.

Sadie is a 1994 graduate of Catholic University, Columbus School of Law, where she served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Contemporary Health Law & Policy. She received her B.S. in Political Science, cum laude, in 1991 from Arizona State University.

Sadie and her husband live in Montgomery County, Maryland with their son and two Labrador retrievers.
